The Darling Room
Darling and I planned this photoshoot in order to share the first act for her 18th birthday. This whole photoshoot was a celebration that took place over several hours with the help of Mama Lisa, of course. The session was photographed in the Darling Room, A.K.A. the most fabulous room anyone could ever walk into.
Darling et moi avons planifié cette séance de photos afin de partager le premier acte pour son 18ème anniversaire. Cette séance photo était une célébration qui s'est déroulée sur plusieurs heures avec l'aide de Mama Lisa, bien sûr. La séance a été photographiée dans la Darling Room, A.K.A. la pièce la plus fabuleuse dans laquelle on puisse entrer.
ACT I
This first act had a very Marilyn Monroe (or Evelyn Hugo for those of you who understand this reference) ambiance that was channeled during the photoshoot as well in post. The flash photography combined with the soft glamour (by literally using a pantyhose over the lens) gave a very nostalgic feeling to the images.
Ce premier acte avait une ambiance très Marilyn Monroe (ou Evelyn Hugo pour ceux qui comprennent cette référence) qui a été canalisée pendant la séance photo ainsi qu'en post-production. La photographie au flash combinée au glamour doux (en utilisant littéralement un collant sur la lentille) a donné un sentiment très nostalgique aux images.
ACT II
The second act featured a light pink and romantic nightgown. The outfit was paired with a vintage telephone, pearls, and a dramatic mirror set-up with warm light. This act was a personal favourite of mine, as well as most of my Instagram followers' favourite.
Le deuxième acte mettait en scène une chemise de nuit rose pâle et romantique. La tenue était pairée à un téléphone vintage, à des perles et à un miroir dramatique installé avec une lumière chaude. Ce acte était mon préféré, ainsi que celui de la plupart de mes followers Instagram.
ACT III
The third act was a bold cherry red nightgown accompanied by matching heels. The outfit was paired with a phone and matching cushions on the couch.
Le troisième acte était orné d’une robe de nuit rouge cerise avec des talons hauts de la même couleur. La robe a été pairée avec un téléphone et des coussins de la même couleur sur le sofa.
ACT IV
The final act included a mauve vintage nightgown with a another mirror. The pearl earrings were the definitely a focal point during this act.
Le dernier acte incluait une robe de nuit mauve et un autre miroir. Les boucles d’oreilles en perle était un objet important lors de cet act.
